The first 50,000 fans in attendance for the Dodgers’ September 24 game against Colorado will receive a Vin Scully limited edition commemorative coin, part of the festivities of Vin Scully Weekend honoring the legendary broadcaster.

The 39-mm solid bronze will be minted with an image of Scully and his signature “It’s time for Dodger baseball” on the front and the Dodgers’ established date on the back. It will come individually numbered in a protective flip pouch with a certificate.

Preceded by Vin Scully Bobblehead Night on September 20, Vin Scully Weekend will begin September 23 with Vin Scully Appreciation Day, featuring an on-field ceremony with special guests, and opportunities for fans to thank and pay tribute to Scully. After the game, Friday Night Fireworks (presented by Denny’s) will be set to the top calls of Scully’s one-of-a-kind career.

Since August 13, the Dodgers have been unveiling Scully’s top 20 Dodger calls, as voted by the fans, and the unveiling of the top two calls will also take place September 23.

In addition, as part of Fan Appreciation Day on September 25, there will be tributes to Scully throughout the afternoon of the final home game of his 67-season career as Dodger broadcaster.
