Jon, My younger brother is a huge Star Wars fan (actually Jedi knights at his wedding) would probably love to meet your brother. My brother works for a video company that did Call of Duty (he travels all around the world)…maybe they could do some kind of “professional trade”

If past is prologue, the Dodgers will score 3.38 runs tonight, worse than any other team in baseball besides Miami, which can’t really be considered a major league franchise. Even lowly Houston has scored more often than this group of punchless judys. With Kershaw and Greinke on the mound, that should be enough to win. Anybody else, maybe not.

    Good Inning Claw

  4. KT

    good eye Matty
    Great Hit Dre!!!

  5. KT

    Come on AJ…drive him home

  6. KT

Juan’s back to the big swing again

The players have all said how much they enjoy playing for Mattingly. If they’d like to keep enjoying it, time to put up or shut up.

  8. Dee makes “Good Field No Hit” more than a cliché.

    • KT

except his fielding for a SS is not that well

      • Hey, we put up with José Offerman’s iron glove for several years as I recall.

        • KT

you definitely right there…Jose was terrible
I’ll give this to Dee it seems like the game has slowed down for him this year…He’s taking his time and making more of the plays this year

  9. A man stranded at third after no outs again. At least this time somebody was on base before the triple.

Even when we score, the inning is a disappointing one.

  11. Anonymous

Runner on third, no outs. Grounder to the wrong side of infield, followed by two strikeouts. And so it goes.

  12. KT

Kersh only 16 after 2…much better than last game

    • Anonymous

Kershaw’s 16-pitch total after two frames may be the best news thus far in this game.

      • KT

that and his hit…Last time he lead off an inning and got on he scored

  13. KT

    Back on…Yea

All right, Kid! Hurt by the walk, especially with this offense. But MAYBE they can get another run for him!

    Andre!
Gotta ride his hot streak and not waste it!

  16. So glad I started Andre on my fantasy team tonight!

Also, got the hard part of the cycle done…

  18. KT

  20. KT

    Nice hit Carl!!

  21. KT

    Come on Mark…base hit

  22. Anonymous

    More opportunity lost!

  23. Adrian was 4/11 with a home run against Gallardo coming into this game, not looking great tonight.

  24. Lyons just said the “wheat” on the Brewer’s hats is a hop. The beer geek inside me cringed.

  25. KT

    Kemp!!!!

  26. KT

    Let’s go Clayton

  27. KT

    Like this fact:

    Eric Stephen ‏@truebluela 1m

Tonight is 17th game in which Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier have each homered. Dodgers have won 14 of previous 16

  28. KT

82 through 7…much easier time than last game

  29. Kershaw would be best served by pitching a complete game and letting the bullpen think about the error of its ways.

“Terror” of its ways might work, too. ;-])

Somebody feed that roving KCAL cameraman already!

  31. KT

Alright Clayton time to shut them down…1, 2, 3 inning

  32. KT

    2 more Kersh

  33. Hmmm that looked like a home run…

  34. KT

    ok 1 more

  35. KT

Ball game love when they celebrate on the field

  36. KT

Night all…I’ve been gone all day it’s time to spend some time with my boy and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Just tuned back in, great to see Kemp homer and another thought… where on earth would we be without Kershaw!

  38. Onlyatriple

was the substitution of Shoe for Ethier in RF a defensive switch or an injury?

    • foul tip

Gameday says Ethier ejected. Dunno why; just checked back in after a good while away.

    • Anonymous

ethier was thrown out of the game by the home-plate ump.
