Wondering how much progress has been made on the Dodger Stadium renovations behind the outfield and bullpens for the 2014 season. Above is a recent shot of area beyond left field.

  1. That is going to be really nice. The new owners are doing a fine job.

  2. The photo and the drawing remind me of a couple of balls Mike Piazza hit. On fan appreciation day in 1995, he hit a ball way up into that very corner of the left field pavilion. I had never seen anyone hit a ball to the top of the pavilion before. As far as the drawing goes, the next year, facing Pedro Martinez, he hit one that cleared that very high wall in the BACK of the bullpen. It was the only run of the game. Now, that ball would be into that Bullpen Overlook section. Any Dodger fans that remember him should also know that in 1997, he hit a ball onto the left field pavilion roof.
