Game-used Kershaw no-hitter ball up for auction

Kershaw Ball

By Jon Weisman

A game-used, autographed ball from Clayton Kershaw’s no-hitter – plus a meet-and-greet with the Dodger superstar – is up for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

In addition to receiving the ball, the winning bidder and three friends will be invited to watch Dodger batting practice, have the opportunity for autographs from selected Dodger players and coaches, and have chat and photo time with Kershaw himself (on a mutually agreeable date when he is not pitching). You and three friends will arrive at Dodger Stadium and be escorted down to the field to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers Batting Practice from the warning track next to the Dodger Dugout.

Following the pregame excitement, the winning bidder will receive a complimentary buffet dinner at the Dugout Club and then enjoy four Dugout Club game tickets.

The winner will also be rewarded with a signed 30×20 mounted canvas by team photographer Jon Soo Hoo capturing Clayton Kershaw’s last out.

Bidding has begun at $10,000 and runs through July 31. More details can be found at the link. This will be the only Kershaw no-hit ball offered by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the official team charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers that supports key cornerstone programs in sports & recreation, education & literacy and health & wellness benefitting children and families throughout the greater Los Angeles region.
