With fewer than 60 hours to go until All-Star voting closes at 8:59 p.m. Thursday, Yasiel Puig still has a spot in the National League starting outfield, but he has slipped from first to third among outfielders.

Puig (3,001,907 votes) has a 320,000-vote lead over Giancarlo Stanton of Miami for third place, but now trails the tightly matched duo of Pittsburgh’s Andrew McCutchen (3,173,810) and Milwaukee’s Carlos Gomez (3,169,748).

Adrian Gonzalez, Dee Gordon and Hanley Ramirez remain in the top five at their positions but are likely looking to gain reserve roles.

In addition to paper ballots available at the ballpark, online voting for the All-Star Game continues at MLB.com. You can vote up to 25 times, and 10 more if you are logged in with an MLB.com account. (In-stadium voting ended June 26.) The All-Star Selection show will be on ESPN at 4 p.m. Sunday. The fan vote for the 34th spot on each league’s roster will begin immediately thereafter.

July 1 All-Star voting update

A note from MLB: “With seven different teams currently represented among the eight leaders, this would mark the eighth time since fan balloting began in 1970 that the N.L. could have as many as seven different teams represented among the starting position players.  The other years in which this has occurred include 1971, 1984, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2010.  The N.L. has never had eight different teams represented among the eight positional leaders.”
