In my humble opinion, and I am clearly biased…. Had Koufax not had to retire at the age of 30, he’d have pitched 10 no-hitters… Hats off to the Cub pitcher who pitched a one-hitter that evening…. Sandy was, is and always will be ther greatest pitcher in history… he’s my hero for life.

I never got to see most of the games Sandy pitched living in New York during most of his brilliant years, since modern technology wasn’t what it is today. I pick up most of it the following day in the newspapers or occasionally on Nationwide T.V. and the post season.
I am happy to watch Kershaw first hand.
